The protein guide

Whey or vegan? Both work. One fits you better.

Protein is the single most important supplement most people take. But the source matters — for your goals, your body and your gut. Here's what actually separates whey from plant-based protein, without the marketing gloss.

Fast-absorbing

Whey protein

Whey protein with a balanced amino acid profile. See each product page for the exact ingredient list.

  • Rapid post-workout absorption
  • High leucine — drives muscle protein synthesis
  • Higher protein density per gram
  • Naturally rich in BCAAs & EAAs

Plant-based

Vegan protein

A pea + soy blend, cold-processed. Complete amino profile, dairy-free, gentle on digestion — no compromise.

  • Dairy-free and lactose-free
  • Gentle on digestion
  • Lower environmental footprint
  • Complete profile via pea + soy pairing

Behind the label

Why protein grams aren't equal.

Isolate vs concentrate

Isolate is 80–90%+ protein by weight; concentrate is 70–80%. Both are excellent — isolate just packs more protein per gram.

Plant blends are complete

Pea + soy together deliver a complete amino profile — soy is itself a complete protein rich in essential aminos and BCAAs — typically ~21g per serving.

Real flavour costs grams

Cocoa, freeze-dried fruit and natural sweeteners take space. We'd rather deliver 21g of clean protein than 25g of chalk.

Serving size matters

Compare per-serving grams — not tub size. Our labels publish both, always.
